Marks No. is used to identify different pieces of cargo on a ship so that there is no problem identifying them at the port and they can be handed over to the correct parties without confusion.
Marks No. can consist of the buyer?s name and address, purchase order number or unique number of the package.
- Open the respective Shipment View page.
- Click on edit button.
- The Shipment Entry page will open.
- Key in details in Marks No. field.
- Click on Save button.
- The Marks No. is now added in the Shipment.
