Here, we are going to see why insurance premium charges are not reflected in the get charges in shipment and how to rectify it.
Scenario: In the Port Pair, after we enter the insurance premium charges, it will not reflect in the Get Charges in the Shipment view. Kindly check whether we enable the Insurance option or not in Pickup/Delivery/VAS. if we enable this option in shipment view means the insurance premium charges which we entered in the Port pair will display in the Get Charges.
Step 1: Login to EFM Application and go to the Forwarding Module.
Step 2: Select the Shipment Entry from Forwarding Module.
Step 3: Enter the respective Shipment Number and Click the Submit Button.
Step 4: Select the Edit option at the top of the Shipment view page.
Step 5: Select the Pickup/Delivery/VAS menu in the Shipment entry and enable the Insurance option and click the Save button.
Step 6: Finally, the required insurance premium charges will appear in the get charges in the shipment view.
